Our work in creating a community tourism brand for Tourism Fernie was an incredible experience. What started with a three-day community envisioning session culminated in a brand and identity program that presents the town's Canadian Rocky Mountain personality, its living heritage and its big mountain adventure in a unique and compelling way.
The Tourism Fernie brand development included the creation of a Vacation Planner that allowed the Fernie story to be expressed more fully—through rich visuals, compelling design and the inspirational copy written by our copywriter who, coincidentally, was a one-time Fernie-ite.
The consumer snow show circuit was an important introduction of the Fernie brand to avid skiers and snowboarders. We concentrated on creating a design that would allow Fernie's personality to stand out at these shows, while using visuals that would make snowseekers drool.
Origin applied a comprehensive re-skinning of Tourism Fernie's start-up site to bring it in line with the new creative platform. The result is a fresh look and feel that presents the Fernie brand consistently with its other marketing materials.
